Oliver has been awarded a European Research Council Starting Grant (€1.78M, 5 years) for the project Electrochemically Programmable. Biochemical Networks for. Animate Materials (eBioNetAniMat). eBioNetAniMat will create new animate materials capable of autonomously making decisions about their movement, underpinned by novel protein-based networks. These new materials will have a potentially transformative impact in areas such as MedTech and Soft Robotics.
