Agata Kulisiak

Agata comes from a pharmaceutical background as she completed her BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences at London Metropolitan University, where she investigated the characteristics of topical drug delivery systems, which initiated her interest in research. She has expanded on her science interests by doing an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Aston University, where she worked on polymer microparticle formulations for long-acting injectable drug delivery systems. Continuing her passion for studying and research, in November 2025, Agata joined the Maguire Research Group as a PhD researcher. Here she will explore and advance our understanding of systems chemistry, whilst learning new analytical and experimental techniques.

In her free time, Agata plays various board games with her friends or goes to concerts, and on quiet days she crochets, with her favourite being making amigurumi plants.
